## How much CPF does an employer and employee each pay in Singapore in 2026?

In 2026 a Singapore Citizen or 3rd-year PR on S$8,000 a month at age 30 pays S$1,360 employer CPF (17%) and S$1,600 employee CPF (20%), a S$2,960 total. CPF applies only to the first S$8,000 of Ordinary Wages a month and S$102,000 a year. Skillsforce runs this calculation every payday, accurately and on time.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the CPF Ordinary Wage ceiling from 1 January 2026?

S$8,000 a month. Ordinary Wages above that do not attract CPF. The combined annual ceiling on Ordinary plus Additional Wages is S$102,000, and the CPF Annual Limit on total contributions is S$37,740.

### How are the employer and employee CPF shares split?

Each age band has a total rate and an employer and employee split. The total contribution is rounded to the nearest dollar; the employee share is rounded down; the employer share is the difference. This calculator applies the CPF Board 2026 rate tables.

### Do 1st- and 2nd-year PRs pay full CPF?

No. They pay graduated rates by default. A PR can instead elect Full employer and Graduated employee rates. From the 3rd year, PRs pay the full Citizen rate. Use the residency selector and the advanced election toggle.

### Does this handle Additional Wages like AWS and bonus?

Yes. Enter the annual Additional Wage and the calculator caps it against the remaining annual ceiling, which is S$102,000 minus the annual Ordinary Wages already subject to CPF.

### Is this calculator free to use?

Yes, fully ungated. Enter your figures and the result appears instantly. No email, no account. If you would like this run accurately every month, with CPF, IR8A and IRAS filed for you, talk to Skillsforce about payroll.
